Hovander Day Camp, July 27-30
Has Been Cancelled

Camp Kirby has been providing children the opportunity to grow, make friends, have fun and come home with memories to last a lifetime since 1923.

Camp Kirby's 47 acres, including beautiful, pristine forest and 1-1/2 miles of beach, is located on Samish Island in Skagit County. Owned and operated by Camp Fire USA, Camp Kirby is constantly growing to meet the needs and excite the imaginations of campers.

A small, family-like camping environment, Kirby provides campers with individual attention and small group interaction.

Safety, respect, and fun are Camp Kirby's foundation. Most of our staff has previous camp experience. We have health-care professionals and a great camp cook who provides three hearty, well-balanced meals and a snack daily. All staff attends an intensive seven-day training that includes risk management, first aid and CPR, child development, safety procedures and program planning.

Camp Kirby is a place where children can play

and grow in physical and emotional safety.

The camp is owned and operated by Camp Fire USA Samish Council
and adheres to the high standards set by Camp Fire USA.

Camp Kirby is located on beautiful Samish Island.
